Although ahrefs does not offer a free version you are able to utilize a free 2 week trial which will give you all the information you need for your business. They have a MASSIVE database of keywords so is an incredible tool for keyword tracking. It does offer much more though so be sure to check out their full suite of tools.
MOZ is by far our go-to when it comes to information about everything related to digital marketing, internet marketing, website marketing and SEO. One of their coolest tools is the Open Site Explorer which allows you to easily check your domain authority. It's a super cool way to check your link popularity and keyword phrases.
We like this tool as it's great to catch the "Buzz" of other websites (thus the name "Buzz Sumo". You can utilize this tool for social listening and for blog post ideas. As we've mentioned in our Competitor Analysis post it's important to know what competitor posts are most shared. Buzz Sumo also offers date range tracking!
Screaming Frog is yet another REALLY useful tool! You need to download and install their program but it's well worth it due to the results it provides. The tool will crawl competitor websites and fetch some amazing seo analysis. The free version is a little limited but still very good. We suggest trying it out for yourself!
Google Ads (formerly Google Adwords) has an incredible tool in their keyword planner. You need to activate a Google Ads account in order to use the tool but DO NOT need to actually run an ad. The tool allows you to input a few keywords and it will tell you the top 100+ related keywords searched over the past year!
